1. Allow other people to speak without interrupting.
2. Treat everyone with respect and refrain from name calling and insults.
3. Put your cell phones, beepers, etc., on silent or vibrate.
4. Clear your schedule so that you can concentrate on the mediation.
5. Agree to be patient.
